Chute Chronicle - Back Numbers:
Can you please help?
The Chute Chronicle was first published in 1974; it has continued to be the magazine with all the information about what's going on in Chute - and remains Chute's largest selling publication!
For a while there was a complimentary publication, the St Nicolas Church News, however they amalgamated in January 1989 as the Chute Church & Village News, before reverting to the preferred title of Chute Chronicle just a few months later. However, and while the archives are fairly comprehensive, we are missing the following:
Chute Chronicle – March 1974 – the very first edition
St Nicolas Church News – November 1985
If you have copies of either of the above, we’d be delighted if we could borrow them to scan – we will, of course, take great care and return them promptly. If you can help, please contact Chris Stock on 730613 or at chris.stock@thechutes.org.uk
In due course, we hope to make all copies going back to 1974 available, as an historical record of life in the Chutes.
In the meantime, the following copies have been made available: |
